I began this painting with blocking and placement of colors. I've uploaded scenarios (basically trying to get an idea on what I wanted to do with the sky). The software I'm using is Twisted Brush Studio Pro version 19.18. I used a pen and some "water color" brushes to paint the sky. The final result was to add the pine trees and bring down the opacity to achieve that "misty" quality, then adding reflections and highlights for the final result. I really enjoyed painting St. John's River, once I've "captured" the sky, the fun began, hence "it's 5 o'clock somewhere", it had the feel I should be putting my feet up on the veranda railing and having a margarita :0)!

It's 5 O'clock Somewhere. Finished the sky and "just playing" :o)!
Started to do the layout...
I liked the open landscape, but I thought it needed "more".
